Claire Martin, Student Enterprise Manager

Claire raises awareness of Student Enterprise across the University of Plymouth. She networks, collaborates and shares ideas and experiences related to the encouragement of student entrepreneurship and enterprise on campus and works with academic colleagues, external partners and alumni.

Claire is responsible for enhancing many aspects of students’ personal and professional development within student enterprise. Claire develops, delivers and facilitates a programme of activities, workshops and resources to students and graduate entrepreneurs within The Cube. She is wholly committed to student development and is passionate about providing student enterprise materials, through varied mediums. Claire meets with prospective entrepreneurs and guides them in their early journey through start up. She supports those with a business plan to access funding, advice, coaching and knowledge not readily available from other sources.

Before working at University of Plymouth, Claire has worked in similar roles at University of London, Imperial College London and University of Kent, enhancing many aspects of students’ personal and professional development within student enterprise and supporting students with the development of Employability skills.
